How to do a good job of checking and accepting space frame installation engineering

With the advancement of science and technology and the improvement of space frame installation and processing level, more and more steel structure of space frame engineering appears in our work and life. Faced with such a complex structure, everyone will inevitably be interested in the safety of the king structure building. The space frame installation and processing will give you a brief introduction to the acceptance points of the space frame installation project.    Each process of making, assembling and installing the space frame structure shall be inspected and accepted. Without inspection and acceptance, the construction of the next process must not be carried out; after the installation is completed, the delivery inspection and acceptance must be carried out. The inspection and acceptance of each process should be recorded, and should be summarized and archived. Welded balls, bolt balls, rods, high-strength bolts, etc. should have factory certificates and inspection records. When handing over for acceptance, check the vertical and horizontal side length deviation of the space frame, the center deviation and height deviation of the supporting point. The allowable value of the side length deviation in vertical and horizontal directions should be 1/2000 of the length, and should not be greater than 30mm; the allowable value of the center offset should be 1/3000 of the span of the space frame, and should not be greater than 30mm.

steel structure of space frameThe allowable value of the height deviation: for peripheral support, the distance between adjacent points of the space frame should be 1/400 of the distance between adjacent supports, and should not be greater than 15mm, between high and low points, should be 30mm; for multi-point support grids, it should be 1/800 of the distance between adjacent supports, and should not be greater than 30mm. After the construction is completed, the deflection value of the space frame (including the deflection of the space frame and the deflection after the roofing project is completed) should be measured. The average value of the measured deflection should not be greater than the design but only 15%. The measured deflection curve should be archived.

Deflection observation points of the space frame: for small spans, set a point at the center of the lower chord; for large and medium spans, you can set five points, one at the center of the bottom chord, and two points at each quarter of the two down chord spans. For three-way space frames, you should measure the deflection at three quarter points of each span.

The following documents should be provided for the acceptance of space frame installation engineering: space frame construction drawings, as-built drawings, design modification documents, construction organization design, quality certificates and test reports of steel and other materials used; qualification certificates and test reports of space frame components, the acceptance record of each process of the space frame splicing, the welder’s examination qualification certificate, the quality inspection data of the weld quality and the high-strength bolt, the geometric error and the deflection record after the total assembly is in place.
