The design should use high-strength materials as much as possible. For example, the use of Q345 steel can save 15%-25% of steel than the use of Q235 steel, and the saving ratio for tension or bending components is larger.

When designing, choose economical cross-section steel, such as hot-rolled H-section steel, T-section steel, etc. In some cases, the use of hot-rolled H-section steel columns and beams may use slightly more steel than the use of welded H-section steel. However, considering the processing cost and construction schedule, the cost may be more advantageous.

  1. Wall materials of space frame steel structure system: The cost of wall materials generally accounts for 15%-25% of the cost of civil engineering. For the steel structure system, the selection of supporting, economical and energy-saving wall materials is very important. At present, the external wall materials selected in the design mainly include cement thermal insulation external wall panels, lightweight aerated concrete blocks, NALC panels, etc.; internal wall materials mainly include modified gypsum board, GRC internal wall panels, and cement thermal insulation composite panels.

  • Floor decks are only permanent. Generally, ordinary galvanized profiled steel plates can be used as the formwork, which has lower requirements for galvanization and fire resistance time, and is cheaper;
  • As a formwork during construction, it replaces the tensioned steel bars in the use stage, that is, composite floor slabs. Since the floor deck is considered as a tension bar in the design, its service life must be consistent with the service life of the main steel structure, so its galvanizing amount and fire resistance time are relatively high, and the unilateral price is relatively high.
  1. Color-coated profiled steel plate: Color-coated profiled steel plate is generally used for light steel plant house panels and wall panels. There are different plate types, different substrate thicknesses and steel grades, different types of galvanized sheets, and different thicknesses of galvanized layers. Color coating category, in terms of form, you can choose veneer, thermal insulation composite board, veneer plus internal thermal insulation layer, etc. The thermal insulation layer has ultra-fine glass wool, hard rock wool, polystyrene and other types and thicknesses. These differences all cause differences in unilateral material prices, thereby affecting the total cost of plant engineering. Therefore, the design should be based on the nature of the plant, the atmospheric environment and other factors, and the reasonable selection of plates should be used to control the project cost.
